Photos of your child
We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.
When to keep your child home
A student with a fever stays home until the next morning. A guide calls a parent when a student is unwell at school, and the office tells families when something is going around.
Drop-off and pickup
Arrival is from 8:30 and dismissal is at 3:00. Only the adults on a family's pickup list may collect a student, and we ask to see ID until we know you. A guide is at the courtyard door at both times.
Closures for weather and holidays
The school closes for the breaks on the family calendar, and for severe weather when the office judges travel unwise. Families hear by text and email.
Leaving the program
We ask for a month's notice in writing. The enrollment agreement says what happens to a month in progress.
Screens and phones
Phones stay in the office bag from arrival until dismissal. Computers are for research, with a guide nearby.
What to wear and bring
There is no uniform. Students wear clothes they can move in, closed shoes for the garden and a hat for outdoor time. Each student keeps a water bottle and a change of clothes in the room.
Meals, snacks and allergies
Families pack a lunch and a snack. Tell us about allergies at the visit; we ask privately once you enroll.
